The Ritz Camera origins date back to 1918 when Benjamin Ritz opened a portrait studio on the Atlantic City boardwalk. After a few years and a few more portrait studios, Benjamin traveled to Washington, DC and in 1936 opened a film processing lab with his younger brother Edward Ritz. This was the beginning of Ritz Camera as we know it.
In 2003, Ritz Camera launched Ritzpix.com, which was the first website to offer online ordering and in store pick up at a retail location. Over the years, Ritzpix.com has grown to offer many unique and high quality photo gifts, as well as many photo products available in store in 1 Hour.
