Points of Interest

Burgess Falls is located just 8 miles off the Cookeville exit about 70 miles east of Nashville. There are 3 large falls and many small ones. These falls are rated the best in Tennessee. It is a very easy 3/4 walk from the beginning to the end. However if you want to go down to the bottom of the big fall it is straight down and a little tough so be careful.There are lots of picnic tables with grills and nice restrooms. Great Family day trip or go alone as I did for a very beautiful and peaceful day. Learn More. Map it!
