She’s really familiar with the other sites, so it took a little bit to get used to the different process. But once she figured it out, it was very fun to use their tools to create a custom book.
Her favorite feature with Ritz is the ability to totally customize her own page layout. Other sites let you choose from a selection of layouts which limits the sizes and shapes you can combine on a page (This frustrated me a lot when I made my books). Ritz Pix gives you creative control over the page layout – sizes, shapes, positions, number of photos… You’re given a blank page and then you get to play around and get it to look just right to suit your tastes and your photos.
She prefers the focus to be on the photos and not on things like clip art, but she tried some of it and says it was easy to use and the clip art looks nice in the book. You can also add text in different sizes and fonts. Others will want to use lots of these extra features.
It’s easy to preview the book online before ordering. The printing is high quality and the book looks great. Shipping was very fast, but … if you need your book faster, you can arrange to pick it up in their store in about an hour!
